The book

The book was written by J. K. Rowling. I think the book has a lot more detail. I enjoyed the book more because it contains more of the story and sticks to the plot. The best bit of the book is when the Troll is set loose.

The movie

It all started when Wizards and Muggles lived together. Good wizards and witches kept away from Voldemort and his followers. Voldemort killed many famous wizards and witches but when he killed Lily and James Potter something stopped him killing their little baby Harry. That's why he became famous. Harry enrolls in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. He learns to play Quidditch and becomes the youngest player of the century. Many agree this is the best part of the movie.
